In April 2018, Minera Cerrejón de Colombia, one of the largest coal mines in the world, bought the first two FMA Cable Reelers to be mounted on a Caterpillar 988. With this equipment Cerrejón will substantially improve the handling of their electric cables used by the Extractions Shovels. The model chosen by Cerrejón was the CRB600, with capacity to handle 600 meters of cable. The equipment is equipped with a quick coupling and a blade for berm arrangement. The equipment will be dispatched to Colombia by the end of July 2018.
